BOGA’s Jeramie Vaine – Top 10 at Carolina CUP 2013

The Carolina CUP Race is noted as a top world class event in the SUP community. This years 2013 lived up to its title as more than 400 paddlers for 40 states and 6 countries converged on Wrightsville Beach, NC. The Elite class was stacked with over 20 of the worlds top names in Stand Up, a list of names rare to see at one event. The 13 Mile course proved to to match its name “The Graveyard” race as conditions and currents brewed up one of the events more difficult in history.

BOGA once again showed up in force with Jeramie Vaine taking an impressive top 10 result in the Elite 13 course. Other BOGA victories could be seen in all classes, including a top 3 in the woman’s 6 mile race, 1st in the Surf Class, 3rd in Masters and a 7th overall in the Money Run Race against over 140 paddlers.
